The invention relates to a dressing device for abrasive elements, preferably on gear-hobbing machines, having two dressing tools arranged in each case on an extension arm of a push rod. Said push rod is mounted and guided in a rectilinear and rotatable manner in the round guide of a pivotable guide housing, the pivot pin of which runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the push rod. The object of the invention is to provide a simple, space-saving and cost-effective mechanical dressing device for two abrasive-wheel flanks, which can deviate from a straight line. The essence of the invention is that, for each abrasive-wheel flank, a tool is arranged on a round pivotable push rod which effects a rectilinear movement in its longitudinal axis and is supported in a frictionally locking manner, via a sensing arm, on a template. In this arrangement, a coupling of the rectilinear movements of the two push rods is achieved by drive pinions which are connected and mounted on the pivot pin of the guide housing. By the parallel arrangement of a plurality of templates, the latter can be traced one after the other by a plurality of sensing pins in order to achieve different flank modifications. <IMAGE>
