Lifting vehicle with scissors platform - has platform moved vertically in relation to top frame by drive

The lifting vehicle is particularly for loading aircraft. It has a scissors-type lifting platform with a base frame on the chassis, also a top frame, above which is a working and transport platform. The working platform (9) moves vertically up and down in relation to the top frame (7) under the action of a drive (17) varying the distance between them, pref. dependent on the movement of the scissors mechanism. The drive can be mechanical, comprising chains (18) attached to the platform corners and reeved round pulleys (19) above and fixed in position in relation to the top frame.
