PURPOSE:To achieve satisfactory value of mechanical Q, Young's modulus, and density of a diaphragm and to improve the uniformity and water absorption resistance and also workability such as bonding, by forming polyamide film into a given shape as the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm for an electro-acoustic converter is constituted with polyamide film such as 6-Nylon or 66-Nylon. The polyamide film has suitable Young's modulus and density and low mechanical Q value is 8-12 and also the workability such as forming and bonding is excellent. The polyamide film is more excellent than paper or the like in the uniformity and water absorption resistance. 66-Nylon and 6-Nylon have been characteristic in comparison with paper and Q- damped ABS resin in the fundamental waves and the harmonic wave strain characteristics in the secondary and ternary order has less distortion and is very excellent. |
