<p>The protection of load bearing ceilings, over industrial kitchens, abattoirs, or laundries from rising vapours and deposits of particles from these, is provided by a liquid film drawn over an underceiling. The liquid is guided along edges (26,28,30,32) formed by surface panels (14,16,18,20) making up adjacent arched ceiling panels (12) in the under ceiling (10). It emerges from these to coat the surface elements with a film of liq. It pref. flows vertically onto catchment gutters (24) accommodating the ceiling panels. Sprinklers can be housed in the arching. Min. water is needed for provision of an evenly spread overall film, without detracting from hygiene.</p> |
