Pressure cell

A pressure cell is proposed which is to be used, in particular, to detect the intake air pressure of a vehicle internal-combustion engine. The pressure cell has a diaphragm (2), which is arranged fixed on a substrate (1) and can be deformed as a function of pressure, and the diaphragm (2) is mounted on the substrate (1) as a thick-film element. Measurements of absolute and differential pressure are possible by suitable design of the pressure cell, and means are provided for reducing the temperature sensitivity of the pressure cell. <IMAGE>
