PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. which can form thin-wall molded articles having excellent heat resistance and appearance even in a low-temperature mold, by blending a specified metal salt of an org. carboxylic acid and a sorbitan derivative with a glass fiber-reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin compsn. CONSTITUTION:At least 30wt% polyethylene terephthalate resin, 5-60wt% glass fiber, 0.03-5wt% metal salt of an org. carboxylic acid such as sodium stearate (said metal being selected from Groups Ia and IIa of the Periodic Table), 0.1- 20pts.wt. sorbitan derivative such as an esterified product between sorbitol and an org. carboxylic acid, and, if necessary, 0.3-5pts.wt. liquid paraffin, solid paraffin or polyethylene wax, are kneaded together to produce the titled compsn. EFFECT:Even when a molded article having unevenness in wall thickness is molded in a low-temperature mold, there can be obtd. a molded article having white, uniform appearance in both thick-wall and thin-wall parts. The heat distortion temperature of the molded article is substantially the same as that of an article molded in a high-temperature mold. |
