PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a cathode by performing preset raster aging after the first filament aging process and emission, the first gas, the second gas, and the second filament aging. CONSTITUTION:After the first filament aging process by preheating, 0V, 50- 100V, 300-400V, and 400-500V are applid to the first, second, third, and fourth grids, respectively and raster aging is performed for 15-20min by means of approximately 0.5-1mA cathode current. Subsequently, emission, the first gas, the second gas, and the sencond filament aging is performed. Thus, the raster aging process ionizes CH4, easily absorbs it in Ba of a getter, and improves the degree of intra- tube vacuum. As a result, even when the ionized gas after cathode aging collides with the surface of the cathode, the cathode is prevented from being damaged. |
