Anchoring or foundation forming method for a device such as a mechanical member or a construction or holding element. The method is characterized in that it consists in using at least a stub (S1) of a fallen tree, optionally trimming, at least superficially, the upper face (1) of said stub, fixing on such face a carrier or holding element (P1), and connecting the latter by any appropriate means to the element or device to be supported or held. The invention provides particularly in a simple way in a forest environment, very resisting foundations for simple constructions.
