<p>A fluid flow control valve has a metallic seat ring (50) with a resilient seal ring (54) in a leading face thereof to seal against a valve closure member (18). A thin, metallic flexible diaphragm (62) is clamped around its outer edges (70) to the body and around its inner edge (64) to tne seat ring. An annular sealing ridge (72), which is concentric to and smaller than the resilient seal, is provided around the face of the seat ring to provide a metal-to-metal seal in the event of destruction of the resilient seal.</p> |
