PURPOSE:To obtain a wipe pattern without generating an unnecessary signal by adding and mixing a modulation effect signal with a video switching control signal. CONSTITUTION:An horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal are applied to a fundamental wave signal generating section 3 via terminals 1, 2. A special effect fundamental wave signal produced from the section 3 is outputted to a wipe key signal producing section 4. On the other hand, a fadar 5 producing a video switching control signal is connected to an addition mixing section 6, it is added and mixed with a modulation effect signal from a modulation effect signal generating section 7 to be comparison signal and applied to the wipe key signal generating section 4. The special effect fundamental wave generated at the section 3 is sliced at the section 4 to produce the wipe key signal, which is inputted to a video mixing section 10, from which the wipe effect video signal is outputted. |
