PURPOSE:To positively remove foams from ink by making it contact with air, so that occurrence of trouble in printing can be prevented, by allowing the ink to flow in a thin film state at halfway in an ink supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:A tank 1 is provided at halfway in an ink supply pipe, an ink A is stopped at an exit 2a of a supply pipe 2 which supplies the ink A to the tank 1, and an overflowing weir 4 is provided on this location. The ink A having entered the supply pipe 2 with foams flows over the weir 4 and goes on flowing in a thin film state, and it fills the tank 1. When the ink A is flowing in a thin film state, the bubbles in the ink are made to contact with air and removed. Further, volume of the ink in the tank 1 is controlled by an upper-limit liquid level detector 6 and a lower-limit liquid level detector 7. |
