PURPOSE:To shorten the web path and the ribbon path from a position where the web is slitted to a position where the web is introduced into formers and lower the mechanical height by overlapping a plurality of webs without using any turn bar. CONSTITUTION:Webs 6 through 8 are formed into an overlapped web 9 through a guide roller 4, a correcting roller 5 and drag roller 10, and moved. Perforations are formed at three places for making four ribbons 16 through 19, for example, from the inner side of the web 9 folded by the formers through an overlapping drag roller 11 and a perforation roller 12. Next, the overlapped web 9 is slitted of its web width W into W/4 by slitters 13 through 15 and formed into ribbons 16 through 19. Thereafter, the ribbons are introduced in formers 24 and 25 where the ribbons are folded by formers and introduced in a folding machine (not shown) through correcting rollers 28-31. |
