<p>PURPOSE:To set a recording and playback, a fast-forwarding, a rewinding, a pause, and a music-selection mode selectively under the control of two solenoids and two motors, by performing specific operation during channel selection. CONSTITUTION:In music selection, the 2nd solenoid 44 is first driven to separate brakes from two turn tapes, and a pause relative member is set opposedly to a pinch roller arm. The 1st solenoid 14 is then driven after a prescribed time t1 later to move a head plate toward a cassette until the head on the head plate touches the tape gently, thus inhibiting the pinch roller from being pressed against the capstan. In this state, the 2nd motor 50 is driven to run the tape to set a music selection state and on signal detection, the head plate is returned temporarily to set a playback state a constant time t3 after the brakes are applied, thereby driving the tape.</p> |
