<p>PURPOSE:To vertically move a container in order to cause the top of paper sheets to be kept constant by the captioned apparatus for a copying machine or the like, wherein the container is slung by belts, and a vertical movement switching mechanism is coacted through a spring clutch and gears. CONSTITUTION:When the top A' of the paper sheets A is lowered, a bracket 12 rotates clockwose by its weight, and as a stopper 15 is moved away from a stop collar 11 of the spring clutch 9, the spring clutch 9 becomes a connection state to transmit the power to an output gear 10. In other words, the bracket 12 having the stopper 15 acts as a spring clutch controlling mechanism. Thus, the rotational movement of an input pulley 7 is transmitted via an outut gear 10, an intermediate gear 18, and a driving gear 19 to a first shaft 2, and the rotational movement of the first shaft 2 is transmitted via a pulley 20, a belt 21, and a pulley 22 to a third shaft 4 to cause the third shaft 4 to rotate. When the first and third shafts 2, 4 are rorated, the respective belts are wound up to raise the container 6.</p> |
