<p>PURPOSE:To use a microphone device in different ways each suitable for its in-use occasion, by selectively switching a transmission system which performs radio transmission by frequency modulation and another transmission system which transmits a modulated signal to a reception part through optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:At a transmission part 1, the output of a microphone 11 is frequency-modulated 13 and the resulting signal is transmitted from an antenna 17 through a switch 15. The output of a modulator 13 is passed through a switch 18 coupling with the switch 15 and converted 19 into an optical signal, which is transmitted to a reception part 2 through optical fiber 3. This optical signal reconverted 21 into an electric signal, which is demodulated 22 into the original microphone signal before being outputted. Then, the switches 15 and 18 are changed over to use the microphone device as wireless one, wired one having excellent S/N or the both, so that the microphone device is used in different ways each suitable for its in-use occasion.</p> |
