PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a player cabinet by simplifying control mechanism by stopping a crank, driving a driving plate, at the same position when a slide base having an installed turntable, etc., is at a accommodate or play position. CONSTITUTION:Through the clockwise turning of a rack gear 15, a slide base 9 having an installed turntable 44, etc., moves from a record-disk replacement position to a play position together with a rack 16 and then stops. Then, a driving plate 28 coupling with the gear 15 through a crank 43 and a lead-in latch 29 nip a pin 24 implanted in a pickup plate 23 to rotate a tone arm 5 to a play start position. When the gear 15 further rotates and drives the driving plate 28, the latch 29 is inverted to disengage from the pin 24. Therefore, the crank 43 at this time is at the closest position to a cabinet 1 and the base 9 is therefore considered to be stored in the cabinet 1. Conxequently, the crank 43 is stopped at the same positin in both the side states, simplifying the control mechanism. |
