PURPOSE:To enable the simulation of operation of a digital IC, by inputting an input signal to a digital circuit, types of functions of each digital IC and a line number connected to the IC and processing them at the computer. CONSTITUTION:Input signals S6-S9 of a digital circuit 20 consisting of a plurality of digital ICs 15-19, types of functions of each IC, and line numbers 6-14 are taken as input data, tne they are read in a computer 21 via an input device 22. When a storage element is provided in a circuit 20, the initial state of the storage element is read in together with the input data. In this case, the IC to which the input signal is given to all the input terminal is selected and this operation is made to obtain the signal at the output terminal of the ICs, and the operation simulation of the ICs is sequentially made. After this operation is repeated and the signal at the output terminal of all the ICs is obtained, the time chart of each signal is displayed on a CRT23 and drawing is made with an electrostatic plotter 24. |
