PURPOSE:To raise the heat accumulating efficiency of a heat accumulator, by connecting directional control valves in conduits for passing heat medium therethrough, and connecting inlet pipes and outlet pipes of heat accumulating sections, by-pass pipes and connecting pipes to the directional control valves. CONSTITUTION:Directional control valves 6, 6' are connected in conduits 8, 8' for passing heat medium therethrough, and inlet pipes 4, 4' of heat accumulating sections 1 and by-pass pipes 9, 9' are connected to the directional control valves 6, 6'. Further, another directional control valves 7, 7' are connected to the by-pass pipes 9, 9', and outlet pipes 5, 5' of the heat accumulating sections 1 and connecting pipes 10, 10' are connected to the directional control valves 7, 7'. In accumulating heat by passing high-temperature heat medium through the apparatus arranged as above, heat medium by-passes those heat accumulating sections 1 the temperature of which has approached to the saturation temperature and flows into the remaining heat accumulating sections the temperature of which is rather low. Therefore, it is enabled to raise the heat accumulating efficiency of the apparatus. |
