The invention refers to a device for electric insulation between a heat-generating component (1, 1'), e.g. a diode, a transistor etc, and a heat sink (2, 2'). The component is mounted in the heat sink via a pressure or screw connection (4, 4') and the heat sink consists of one or more through connections (5, 5') for the union and/or electric connection (15, 16). A thin insulating washer (7, 7') is placed between the base section of the component (3, 3') and the contact area of the heat sink (13, 13') against the component. The device also consists of an insulating bus (8, 8') applied in the through connections (5, 5', 15) where insulation is required so that end surface of the bus (12, 12') is situated in the same plane at the contact surface (13, 13') of the heat sink against the insulating washer (7, 7'). In this way, the risk for damage from shearing is reduced in the edges of holes on the insulating washer and the risk for flash-over between the component and the heat sink is reduced.<IMAGE> |
