PURPOSE:To prevent direct transmission of a mechanical impact to an optical system by making a constitution in which a shaft of a pulley for driving the optical system is supported in the moving direction of a wire against the tensile force of the wire through elastic members. CONSTITUTION:In a device relaxing mechanical impact generated through variations of loads and reciprocation of the moving direction in a power transmission mechanism for driving an optical scanning system such as a copying machine, bearings 2 of the pulley 4 for passing a wire 5, which is used for moving the optical system scanning throughout a face of an original, are supported in slots 10 so that these are slidingly movable in the direction of the arrow A through elastic members 12 such as springs opposing to tensile forces acting in the direction of the arrow B. By this members 12, the mechanical impact are absorbed effectively and are not transmitted to the optical system directly. |
