Adjacent radiator sections are interconnected by sleeve nuts 7 of metal or nylon. The radiator may serve also as a convector space heater, perforated cover members 10 being fitted over the headers at each end of the tube 2. The radiator may be connected into a central heating system, or it may be a portable appliance containing a fluid heated by an electric resistance. The internal surfaces of the tubes or headers may be anodized to inhibit corrosion.</p> |
