<p>Unit for use by distilleries for marcs coming from the fermentation of grapes comprises a tank divided into six compartments, each in the form of a section of a pyramid with the base downwards; each compartment is provided with an opening which can be controlled progressively by a hydraulic jack. The tank is filled with water through a valve which is also used for the evacuation of the piquette. The upper part of the tank has a number of frames for supporting the various distribution means for the marcs before treatment. After diffusion the marcs are discharged by simple gravity through the openings.</p> |
