PURPOSE:To prevent the fusion regress of a conductive thin film electrode and obtain an electromagnetic capacity type pickup stylus with high stability, by grinding the stylus main body obtained by stacking a conductive thin film on a metallic thin film having a lower fusing point and larger heat conductivity than the conductive thin film into a prescribed shape to be finally used. CONSTITUTION:A conductive thin film 5 of the prescribed titanium, etc. is attached to a square pillar material 3 of diamond, etc. which is used for the pickup stylus main body. After this, a metallic thin film 7 of aluminum, etc. having much lower fusing point and larger heat conductivity than the material of the film 5 is attached on the film 5. Then films 5 and 7 are stacked on each other to obtain the material 3, and the tip part 9 of the material 3 is ground into a shape to be finally used. In such way, the film 7 near the ground surface is fused and regresses earlier than a conductive thin film electrode 6. As a result, the fusion and regress is prevented for a condutive thin film electrode, and accordingly the output can be stabilized with the information signal is reproduced with increased reliability. |
