PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism drive part, by a method wherein units for respective colors are discretely driven by motors provided for every unit, and the respective motors are rotated at a constant speed due to the same speed reference signal during the other time than registering, and the speed reference signals are made different individually for every motor during registering. CONSTITUTION:Motors 11 is used as prime motors to discretely drive printing units 1-4 for every color, and in each of the printing units a plate cylinder 7 and a transfer roller 8 are rotated in conjunction with each other by using a gear 12. To a control circuit 13 for each of the motors, a common speed reference signal 18 from a speed set part 14 and a discrete register signal 19 are inputted. The common speed reference signal 18 is obtained by converting a voltage signal 16 outputted from a speed setting potentiometer 15 to a pulse train with a frequency corresponding to the set speed in a V-F (voltage- frequency) converter 17. The discrete register signals 19 are two types of pulses, i.e. (+) and (-) directions, supplied from a registering pulse generator. |
