摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the general thermal efficiency of a fuel-cell power generation device by using combustion heat, which is generated by burning fuel residual gas exhausted from a hydrogen electrode by using part of residual air exhausted from an oxygen electrode as part of an oxygen source, as a heat source for a reformer. CONSTITUTION:A raw-material hydrocarbon 1 and a reforming steam 2 are mixed to make a raw-material gas 3, which is supplied to a reformer 101. A product gas 4 which is sent from the reformer 101 and contains hydrogen, after being cooled, is fed to a shift converter 105, where carbon monoxide contained in the product gas 4 is converted into hydrogen and carbon dioxide. A product gas 6 converted is supplied to a hdyrogen electrode 111 in a fuel cell 102. A fuel residual gas 7 exhausted from the electrode 111 is fed to the reformer 101, where it is used as fuel. An air 12 compressed by a compressor 104, is supplied to an oxygen electrode 112 in the fuel cell 102. Most part 16 of a residual air 14 exhausted from the electrode 112, is used as a fuel air (oxygen source) for the reformer 101.
