PURPOSE:To wash soybeans, by carrying out the operation to stir the soybeans with water in an amount enough to immerse the soybeans with air automatically. CONSTITUTION:Soybeans are introduced into a soybean immersing tank 1, and a drainage pneumatic valve 6 is opened. A switch is turned on to open a water supply solenoid valve 4 simultaneously, and water is fed into the tank 1. The time (T1) for the water to reach the top surface of the soybean is preset, and the water supply solenoid valve 4 is closed by a timer on arrival of the water surface at the top of the soybeans. A blower 11 is driven a given time (T2) after the switch is turned on. Air is jetted from an air pipe 12 to stir the soybeans. When the water supply electromagnetic valve 4 is closed, the blower 11 is simultaneously stopped. After a certain time, the timer is turned off, and the drainage pneumatic valve 6 is opened to discharge the water from the tank 1. |
