PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head device which is capable of the recording and reproducing with high track density and can be easily produced with high accuracy, by constituting both a recording and reproducing magnetic head and an erasing head into a body. CONSTITUTION:Cut part 4 and 4' that control the width of a recording track plus a cut part 5 that controls the width of an erasing track are provided at a part of a common center core part 3 where a recording/reproducing magnetic circuit and an erasing circuit constituted. A recording/reproducing core 1 of nearly L-shape is joined to the surface containing the parts 4 and 4' of the part 3. Thus a recording/ reproducing magnetic circuit containing a recording/reproducing gap 7 is obtained. In the same way, an erasing core 2 of almost L-shape is joined to the surface containing the part 5 of the part 3 to obtain an erasing circuit containing an erasing gap 8. The glass material is filled into the cut parts 4 and 4' plus 5 to prevent the loss of the core. |
