<p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously realize not only the effective absorption of the longitudinal vibration of a tape but the control of the tape in its width direction, by installing a rotatable impedance roller whose circumference surface partially protrudes through an opening part into a cylindrical post having the stepped parts for control of the tape width. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical guide post 20 has stepped parts 24 and 25 for control of the tape width plus an opening part 27, and a rotatable impedance roller 30 has the circumference surface of an underneck part 32 that is set into the poste 20 so that a part of the circumference surface protrudes outside through the part 27 plus an overhang part 31 for increase of inertia that is positioned at the upper part of the post 20. In such constitution, a guide device is obtained. Thus the control of the width direction is carried out for the tape by the post 20, and at the same time the longitudinal vibration can be effectively absorbed by the roller 30. As a result, the constitution of a tape travelling system can be simplified and miniaturized for a tape transporting device of a VTR, etc.</p> |
