PURPOSE:To prevent clogging of the nozzle and remove sticking of dust and paper powder etc. thereon by enabling the pressure feed of antidrying liquid and recording ink to the ink jet nozzle and repeating formation and removal of the liquid stagnation in time of selecting antidrying liquid. CONSTITUTION:The tank 13 containing antidrying liquid, the gas bomb 14 and the valve 12 are connected between the head and the valve 5' regulating the pressure feed of ink to the head. If the valve 12 is bidirectional electromagnetic valve, the liquid buildup 20 of antidrying liquid is formed in front of the nozzle 7a of the head 7. Again the valve 12 is made ON and antidrying liquid is injected from the nozzle 7a, the dust and the paper powder etc. in front of the nozzle float in the liquid stagnation and are removed together with the ink stream from the front of the nozzle. |
