PURPOSE:To easily perform input-output controls by only exchanging a part of modules, by connecting the higher adapter to the higher equipment, CPU and the main memory, and the lower adapter to the lower equipment composed of a disk device, so that they may be exchanged freely. CONSTITUTION:A disk controller 100 is installed for controlling input and output, and its configuration is modulated by each function. A higher adapter 201 is connected to the higher equipment, the CPU101 and main memory 102. A lower device adapter 202 is connected to the lower equipment, a disk device. Moreover, a controlling portion 203 which controls the whole controller 100, is installed, and the higher adapter 201 or the lower adapter 202 is configured so that they may be converted freely in accordance with the higher equipment or the lower equipment to be controlled by them. |
