PURPOSE:To suppress the lag of label feeding at minimum limit when error signals are generated from a label detector and when the label detector is troubled, by installing an auxiliary feeding means which counts up standard feeding amount and utilizing the advantages of a label leading edge detecting system. CONSTITUTION:A motor 1 drives a feeding roller 7 to feed a pasteboard 1 to which a label 2 is adhered, a peeling part 5 peels off the label and a label detector 22 detects the leading edge of the peeled label 2. A paper feeding controller 2 controls the operation of the motor 6 so that the pasteboard 1 is fed only by a fixed length after detecting the leading edge of the label 2. An auxiliary feeding means 32 sets up the standard feeding rate from the start of paper feeding to the detection of the leading edge at the normal paper feeding and counts up standard feeding. During an abnormal feeding detecting mean 33 is counting abnormal feeding, a gate means 34 invalidates the output from the detector 22 and the means 32 continues standard feeding. |
