PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head which is smaller than the existing one with a smaller amount of power consumption, by securing a unified structure of a voice head core and a voice erase head core with sharing of the partial core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head consists of a composite core 31 of a voice head and a voice erase head plus a case 32. A DC winding 33 that flows a DC current is wound round the voice head core part 31a of the core 31 and a core sharing part 31c of a voice erase head core part 31b. While an AC winding 34 for recording/reproduction of the aural signal is wound round the part 31a as shown in the diagram. A gap G2 of two gaps G1 and G2 of the core 31 functions to erase the aural signal, and the other gap G1 functions to record the aural signal, respectively. A composite head is produced by using a core that unites a voice head core with a voice erase head core, and used for the EC erasion and the DC bias recording. In such way, the power consumption during recording can be reduced without lowering so much the S/N and the distortion factor. |
