<p>In the prodn. of a microporous, foamed moulding, a 1st blowing agent-contg. blank, consisting of a 1st C2H4-vinyl acetate copolymer mixt. (A), and a 2nd blowing agent-free blank, consisting of a 2nd C2H4-vinyl acetate copolymer mixt. (B), vulcanising more quickly than the 1st mixt. (A), are placed into a mould and vulcanised together. The moulded article obtd. contains a microporous substrate and a compact, non-porous top layer bonded to the substrate in one piece. The mouldings can be used as shoe-soles. The use of a more quickly vulcanising, blowing agent-free mixt. (B), prevents pore-formation or gas-penetration in top-layer. The top-layer has a higher abrasion-resistance than the microporous layer.</p> |
