PURPOSE:To interrupt forcibly data recording from a keyboard when a fault occurs in a terminal controller, by enabling a data processor to function to supervise the fault of the controller and to collect data by a substitute polling signal. CONSTITUTION:Data collector unit 4 consists of line adapters 5A and 5B, control part 6, and contact 7 which switches ON-OFF the circuit between terminal controller 1 and data entry unit 3. Further, this unit is provided with transmission parts 8A and 8B of the line adapters, reception parts 9A and 9B, control memory 10, CRT11, printer 12, keyboard 13, flopy disc 14, etc. In the above constitution, a connection to circuit 2-0 is made with contact 7 closed so as to make this unit serve as a data entry unit at a normal time, but once a fault occurs in the terminal controller 1, the fault is discriminated by reception part 9A. Then, contact 7 is broken to interrupt data from controller 1 and data are stored on disc 14 as a substitute for those data. |
