PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a copying device on the whole by ejecting a leaflet from a horizontal to an upper position without using any ejection roll, by restricting the leaflet ejected to a catch tray through an upper and a lower sandwiching extrusion member. CONSTITUTION:When the leading edge of a leaflet 9 passed through a transfer part 3 and a fixing roll 8 is detected by a detection switch 10, solenoids 12 and 15 are energized a certain time later to sandwich a leaflet A between upper and lower sandwiching extrusion members 11 and 14 which are driven by the solenoids. Further, the members 11 and 14 curve toward an ejection side to extrude the leaflet A to a catch tray 7. Then, when the solenoid 12 is turned off and the leaflet A falls into the tray 7 by its weight, the solenoid 15 is turned off to eject the leaflet from a horizontal to an upper position without using any ejection roll. This constitution wherein no ejection roll is used decreases in necessary space, thereby reducing the size of a copying device on the whole. |
