PURPOSE:To obtain higher frequency stability, by providing a positive feedback loop to an oscillation circuit consisting of a negative feedback loop composed of a plurality of inverters. CONSTITUTION:A negative feedback loop consisting of inverters 2, 3, a capacitor C2 in parallel connection and a resistor R2, and also a Miller integration circuit M oscillates at higher frequencies based on the tatal sum of propagation delay of inverters 1-3, but it oscillates in lower frequency based on the time required for the discharge with said negative feedback due to the positive feedback loop by a capacitor C3. A voltage at an input terminal of the inverter 1 is equal to a threshold voltage of the inverter 1, i.e. almost constant, and since stray capacitors 11-13 existing in the output circuit of the inverters 1-3 can be neglected due to lower output impedance of the inverters 1-3, the oscillating frequency is stable. |
