PURPOSE:To perform sufficient thick film repair by repeatedly moving an eroded part vertically so as to contacting a repairing material floating on the molten steel surface in a vessel intermittently at the time of immersing a nozzle in the molten steel and allowing said repairing material to contact with the eroded part of the inside wall of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A repairing method of immersing a nozzle 3 of vacuum degassing vessel 1 into molten steels 2, 2', and allowing the repairing material floating on the surface of the molten steel 2 in the vessel to contact with the eroded part 6 of the inside wall of the vessel 1. At this time, the locally heavily eroded part 6 to be repaired is vertically moved intermittently so as to contact with repair material layer 7 floating on the surface of the molten steel 2 at least >=3 times. The upward and downward moving speeds are kept within a 1-4.5m/min. Hence, the coating layers of proper layer thickness are laminated. |
