<p>PURPOSE:To feed a sufficient amount of water to kitchin stuff or the like and to accelerate the fermentation and putrefaction of the kitchin stuff or the like, by nearly horizontally arranging a crushing net plate in a cover loosely inserted into a methane-fermentation vessel, and pushing down the floating kitchin stuff or the like into water with the net plate, while agitating the kitchin stuff or the like. CONSTITUTION:A bottom-opened box-shaped cover 2 is loosely inserted into a water vessel 1. Methane gas generated by the fermentation and putrefaction of kitchin stuff charged through a charge opening 5 into the cover 2 is reserved in the cover 2. The methane gas is introduced through a collecting pipe 3 to a gas appliance as occasion demands, and used as a fuel. At this time, the gas pressure inside the cover 2 lowers, the cover 2 begins to sink into the water vessel 1, and a crushing net plate 7 horizontally arranged in the cover 2 agitates and pushes down the kitchin stuff or the like into the water in response to the sinking. Owing to this sinking, water content is sufficiently fed to the kitchin stuff or the like, and the fermentation and putrefaction of the kitchin stuff or the like is accelerated.</p> |
