摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the controllability and the safety of a rolling work, by detecting not only a looper angle but also a rolling speed of a rolling mill, and by controlling so as to reduce the deviation of these detected values from their reference values to a minimum. CONSTITUTION:The rolling speed of a rolling mill 1 is designated by V, and a constant is designated by (a); then, Equation I is established in respect of a signal 15a as the output of a circuit 15. This signal 15a is inputted to a multiplier 16 which then outputs a signal 16a given by Equation II. The term Goa(V-V0) of Equation I is a correction term; the greater the deviation V-V0, that is the difference between the rolling speed V of the rolling mill 1 and its reference rolling speed V0, is, the greater the term G0a(V-V0) is. A signal 9a, as the output of a multiplier 9 which multiplies the signal 16a by a signal 8a, is a signal corrected by the term G0a(V-V0). The gain of a looper angle control loop including a looper 6, a multiplier 9, an adder 11 and a driver 12, is controlled by G0DELTAG shown by Equation I, so that the angle theta of a looper 4 is kept at an aimed angle theta* by controlling the rolling speed of the rolling mill 1.</p>
