Pesticide compsn. contg. (a)S-propyl O-ethyl-O-(4-bromo- 2-chloro-phenyl)- phosphorothioate or profenofas of formula (I)and (b) a pyrethroid insecticide of formula (II) (where Ph is phenyl; A is aralkyl, cycloalkyl or opt. substd. aryl-aminoalkyl; R is H, cyano or ethynyl and X is aralkyl or aryloxy, esp 3-phenoxy). Synergistic insecticide compsn., is esp. effective against Arachnida, particularly acarien e.g. Tetranychus urticae (red spider mite).
