<p>A high temperature reactor gas turbine cycle incorporating a 3-stage compressor with inter-cooling and a regenerator with change-over valves which act to control element heat absorption and distribution. Regeneration of the elements is temp. controlled being dependent on turbine gas inlet temp. and is effected through the change-over valves which operate to admit reactor gas to the elements. During turbine shutdown the change-over valves adjust to open-up a bypass diverting gas flow from the compressors around the turbine to the reactor-circulation being assisted by an auxiliary blowre.</p> |
