1339604 Display devices GRAPHIC TREND ASSOCIATES Ltd 15 Feb 1972 [26 March 1971] 7932/71 Heading G5C A three-dimensional display element, e.g. an ice-cream tub 13, is formed from the same flat sheet material as a flexible strip 12 and support panel 11. As shown, the element, strip and panel are integral. The panel 11 has an adhesive layer 15, covered before use by a backing strip 16 and enabling the panel to be applied to a support surface when the flexible strip 12 is bent over, Fig. 3 (not shown). The element 13 is vacuum-formed and, together with the face (17) of the panel 11 which is visible in use, may carry advertising indicia. To save the need to print such indicia on both sides of the flat sheet material, the adhesive layer (25), Fig. 4 (not shown), may be on the rear face of the sheet and be used to attach the flexible strip (22) under a backing sheet (26). |
