PURPOSE:To enable exact electric field intensity measurement by maintaining power receiving surface perpendicular to the direction of electric field automatically. CONSTITUTION:Electric charge induced on the power receiving surface when the position of the receiving surface of a power receiving spherical body 43 formed by insulating two power receiving surface is thetaXO and thetaYO in rotation angle is transmitted to a computer 22 through a current converter 25, a voltage converter 26 a voltage.frequency converter 27 and a light guide 24. Output voltage of a frequency. voltage converter 28 is converted to electric field intensity by a computer 30 and supplied to a memory section 32 and a display section 33. Next, thetaX direction only or thetaY direction only is changed by an X driving section or a Y driving section so that the electric field becomes greater than the original value. When increase of the electric field becomes unrecognizable, increasing and decreasing operation of a series of rotation angles thetaX, thetaY is discontinued. By this way, a perpendicular to the power receving surface becomes parallel to the direction of the electric field, and correct electric field can be determined. |
