A novel class of silicone compounds of the formula, WHERE R and R1 are independently selected from monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, R9 , R10 and R11 are selected from the class consisting of hydrogen, alkyl radicals and aryl radicals, A is selected from hydrogen, alkyl radicals, aryl radicals and amino alkyl radicals, j varies from 2 to 20, w varies from 1 to 500 and varies from 0 to 2. The novel compounds are useful as flocculants for colloidal organic matter.
