SILVER COMPLEX SALT MATERIAL FOR DIFFUSION TRANSFER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having high image reproducing characteristics as well as superior sensitivity, sharpness and resolving power by forming a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a white inorg. pigment on a specified support. CONSTITUTION:A colorant such as carbon black is applied to a support of cellulose acetate, polypropylene or the like by 0.1-5g/m<2> to obtain a support having <=25% spectral reflectance permanently in the sensitive wavelength region of a silver halide emulsion layer. A silver halide emulsion contg. a white inorg. pigment such as TiO2 having 0.05-5mum average particle size by 0.5-20g per one gram silver halide is then applied to the support by 0.5-5g/m<2> as silver halide to form a silver halide emulsion layer. Using the resulting transfer material a lithographic plate with high ink receptivity and printing resistance is obtd. even in case of a transferred silver image with very fine rules.
