PURPOSE:To keep constant the surface level of electrolyte in an electrode bath and to prevent contamination, by discharging a part of the liquid in the electrode bath after finishing the measurement and also, introducing a specified amount of sample together with a fresh electrolyte into the bath. CONSTITUTION:A test tube B2 contg. a sample is attached to a nozzle N and the sample is sucked by a piston P1 and a syringe S1 by rotating cams K1 and K2 and at the same time, an electrolyte is sucked from an electrolyte storage tank B3 by a piston P2 and a shyinge S2. On this occasion, about ten times the quantity of a fresh electrolyte is used for the sample. Next, the sample and electrolyte are discharged to a beaker of electrolysis B1 at the same time by rotating the cams K1 and K2. A constant amount electrolyte is put in the beaker B1 preliminarily. Electrodes R1-R4 and besides a solenoid valve V1 keeping the electrolyte at a constant level, are provided in the beaker B1 and this valve V1 is opened when the measurement is finished. |
