PURPOSE:To prevent any trouble due to short-circuiting, by arranging the angle between the end face of the opening end of the metal case and the inner wall thereof below a specific value and holding some step of height between surface of negative can and the opening of positive can. CONSTITUTION:Anode agent, separator, electrolyte ratainer and cathode agent are enclosed in a positive can 11, whose opening is closed and sealed with the negative can which allows inter-position of packing and thus a button type battery is formed. The opening end 11a of positive can 11 of this battery is formed in a slope providing an angle less than 90 deg. between the end face and inner wall. Thus, the step of height h2 is well reserved between the opening end 11a of positive can 11 and front surface of the negative can, in the sealed contiguration of the battery. |
