Oscillating foil grid sound absorbing wall component - has non oscillating strip of covering material

The sound absorbing panel is built into a wall. Pieces of foil, located close together in a grid pattern and incorporating beaker-shaped depressions, have base surfaces, facing the noise, and can oscillate. The top edges of the depressions are covered by a shared smooth length of material. In a modified version of the panel the sealing length of material is not capable of oscillation. The adjacent side or sheathing surfaces of the depressions may be replaced by common side surfaces. The foil absorber can be used in building, mining and tunnelling construction.
