MOUNTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC WEDGE

PURPOSE:To enable to effectively mount a magnetic wedge even in a slot in which a randomly wound coil is wound by attracting the wedge onto an attracting plate which generates magnetic force on the surface and transferring the wedge into the slot of the core, thereby immersing the coil in varnish in the energized state. CONSTITUTION:After a coil 4 is mounted in the slot 2 of a core 1, the coil 4 is energized to generate magnetic force in the hole 2a of the slot. After a magnetic wedge 6 is attracted to an attracting plate 8 which generates magnetic force to the surface attracting part 9, the plate 8 is moved onto the hole 2a of the slot of the core to transfer the wedge 6 to the hole 2a of the slot which generates more magnetic force and is held as it is. After this step is repeated to mount the wedges 6 in all the holes of the slots, the coils are immersed with varnish while energizing the coil 4.
