A further grid plate (14) is mounted to the working beam (12) in the direction of cylinder (9) rotation. This includes a further working beam (15) with a studded bar (15). Designed for the preparation and cleaning of raw fibre materials, the assembly increases the fibre opening action and removes the removal of dust and other debris. The gap between the upper side of the grid (11) and the cylinder studs (10) tapers between the feed rollers (5,6) and the first working beam (12).
